If you are allergic to dogs and cats in general, you may consider a Shih tzu, a Yorkie or Silky Terrier as they are non-shedding and their fur is more like our hair...it keeps growing and growing till you cut it.  It has been proven that people who are usually allergic to regular dogs won't be to these.  However, having said that, I am not qualified to guarantee you won't suffer.   But I can speak from our experience wherein my son Isaac, had allergies so badly it turned into asthma and  had to give away all our dogs (except Diega our one Jack Russell which he can tolerate).  When we got these breeds he had no reaction; some even sleep with him!  I am so confident with the success rate, I will buy back your puppy if you get a reaction and can't keep him.  How's that for service?
